Close-up Translations is actively committed to the environment and to sustainability. Since its creation, procedures and solutions have been carefully developed in the aim of protecting the environment and reducing the carbon footprint.

The key points of Close-up Translations’ ecological strategy are:
- Use of recycled paper;
- Sorting and reduction of waste;
- Reduction of paper consumption (i.e. no printing of e-mails, reuse of paper for drafting, printing on the back of the page etc.);
- Reduction of electricity consumption (i.e. use of energy saving lamps and light bulbs, turning off of unused electrically powered items etc.);
- Reduction of water consumption;
- Recycling of furniture and computing equipment;
- Optimisation of office insulation; and
- Promotion of recycling and reuse amongst its customers and suppliers.
